Description of Context

I am a pre-service teacher from Malaysia. Very soon I will be going into a school to conduct my practical training for three weeks in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. As have yet to know my class, but it could be similiar to this:

- Situated in a Middle Class Area
- Foundation Level - Year 1 students (mixed gender)
- Based on the Australian Curriculum
- Available Resources: Computer Lab with 10 working computers, Radio Ipad & Laptop (teacher's own)
- Children of Diverse Background: Chinese, Indian & Malay
- 2 students with behavioral issues
- Teacher Directed Lessons

School Aims

• Emphasis on providing educational resources, supervision, counseling and training for holistic development.
• Family involvement
• Providing resources and coaching in aesthetics, sports, camps and educational excursions for the well-being of the child
• Students explore the Laptops, Cameras, Radio & Ipad
